Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation is inviting residents to VetFest on Sunday, Nov. 8, starting at 1 p.m. at Tradewinds Park, 3600 West Sample Road.
Admission is free. The city’s announcement lists live music, food trucks, a kid zone and community resources among the highlights, with more activities promised.
The event gives families a free afternoon in the park on a weekend day, and it puts local service resources in one place for residents to visit.
