High school seniors in Palm Beach and Broward counties who expect to graduate in 2027 can now apply for scholarships from the George Snow Scholarship Fund. Applications are open at Scholarship.org through Monday, Feb. 1, 2027.

Applicants must have financial need. The fund does not require a minimum GPA or test score, and students may pursue any major at an accredited college, trade school or university in the country.

Awards cover four years of support, or the length of an undergraduate program, and do not require yearly renewal. Scholars also receive support services such as care packages, career coaching, emergency funds, mental health counseling and a choice of a laptop or a college supply stipend.

The fund said it awarded more than $3.9 million to over 220 Palm Beach County students earlier this year. It also said it awarded more than $7 million to more than 470 South Florida students in 2026. Since it was founded in 1982, the nonprofit has awarded more than $47 million to over 4,100 local students.

Fund staff plan to visit high schools in both counties during November and December. Students who want to attend a presentation should ask their school counseling department how to sign up.
