Actor John Turturro, known for his role in the Apple TV+ series “Severance,” was honored at the Miami Film Festival GEMS event on Miami-Dade College’s downtown campus, according to WSVN 7News.
Variety presented Turturro with its Creative Vanguard Award, which the outlet gives to recognize boundary-breaking work in film and television.
The fall event, part of the festival’s programming, continues through Thursday. Festival-goers in Miami can catch more screenings and events during the run.
