Hocus Pocus is bringing a dystopian Halloween theme to Factory Town in Hialeah this weekend, with five connected stages and more than 100 artists performing over three nights. The event runs Friday through Sunday at the venue at 4800 NW 37th Ave.

Pasquale Rotella, a spokesperson for the event, said Factory Town is a multi-use creative space focused on the electronic music community. This year’s festival introduces what organizers call the Dystopian Halloween, and the venue will look different from past years.

Music goes beyond house and techno. Organizers are adding disco, drum and bass and progressive sets, which Rotella said are unique to the venue. Attendees can also expect immersive visuals and costumes.

Rotella said the organizers place a strong emphasis on community and art in many forms, and he pointed to the venue itself as a key part of the experience. Tickets are available online through the event’s website.
