The City of Miami is warning residents to prepare for King Tides, the seasonal high tides that can push water into low-lying streets across the city.
Higher-than-normal tides can cause flooding in low-lying areas, the city said. Residents should avoid walking or driving through floodwater, keep vehicles away from spots that flood easily and watch for changing conditions.
Anyone who sees flooding can report it by calling 311 or through the ISeeChange app.
The city posted its 2026 King Tide dates and safety tips at miami.gov/kingtide.
