Fall is the busiest season for Miami’s dining scene, and Miami New Times has rounded up nine restaurants that opened across South Florida in recent weeks. All of them are open now.

Celebrity chef José Andrés returned to Miami Beach on October 22 with Bazaar Meat, a steakhouse inside the Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa at 4041 Collins Ave. The menu centers on dry-aged steaks cooked over an open flame, Spanish jamón Ibérico and his “caviar cones.” A Miami-exclusive airbread inspired by the Cuban sandwich is also on the menu.

In Little River, the modern Filipino restaurant Anako opened October 22 at 8222 NE Second Ave. Chefs Leicel Ros and Nancy Dominguez, formerly of the Sili pop-up at 1-800-Lucky, serve pork-and-shrimp lumpia and slow-braised oxtail kare-kare. The restaurant seats just over 40.

A Pasta Bar, from New York City’s SoHo, opened October 21 in Sunset Harbour at 1784 West Ave. Its 17-seat chef’s counter overlooks the kitchen, and a five-course pasta tasting menu is available. A daily aperitivo runs from 5 to 7 p.m.

On Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Naia took over the former Mango’s space on October 22 and seats more than 200. Caviar Club, a retro-glam steakhouse at 833 E. Las Olas Blvd., also opened on the strip.

Other openings include La Sponda, an Italian restaurant at the Vita at Grove Isle in Coconut Grove, and Lito, a Southern European spot in Wynwood. Pho Nam, a Vietnamese restaurant from the team behind Tâm Tâm, opened September 3 on East Flagler Street. In MiMo, Teo Teo, a rotisserie chicken shop next to Caracas Bakery, opened October 18 at 7285 Biscayne Blvd.
