Luna Pasta e Dolci Take-Away, a family-run pasta shop in Miami’s MiMo neighborhood, has landed at No. 6 on Yelp’s first Top 100 Pasta Places list. It is the highest-ranked Florida business on the list.

The shop, at 6815 Biscayne Blvd., is the only Miami spot on the 2026 list. Hollywood’s Mimi’s Ravioli, at No. 38, is the other South Florida pick. Chef-owner Gabriel Medici also runs a sit-down restaurant a block away at 6927 Biscayne Blvd., so diners should check the address before they go.

Yelp singled out the filled pastas, including pear-and-ricotta agnolotti, salmon ravioloni and the “Golden Plate,” a ricotta-and-truffle tortelloni with mushrooms in demi-glace cream sauce. Customers can also buy uncooked fresh pasta and house-made sauces to cook at home, along with empanadas and desserts such as Nutella tiramisu.

The recognition follows a hard stretch for the business. In January 2025, the New Times reported that Luna had suffered six burglaries and two failed attempts in less than a year, and neighbors organized fundraising support for the family.

Florida placed eight shops on the list, behind New York and Washington with nine each. Yelp ranked businesses using review volume and ratings, capped at ten entries per state. Although the list carries a 2026 title, Yelp describes it as an all-time ranking.

Searches for “pasta shops” on Yelp rose 52 percent between September 2025 and August 2026 compared with the prior 12 months, the company said.
