Several Palm Beach County food businesses were ordered closed on an emergency basis during the week ending Oct. 25, according to a list of closures published by the Boca Raton Tribune from state health department records.

Vine Café, at 1515 S. Federal Highway in Boca Raton, was closed on Oct. 22 because of roach activity. Broadway Pizza & Subs, at 4013 Broadway in West Palm Beach, was closed the same day for roach activity.

The Doubletree Palm Beach Gardens, at 4431 PGA Blvd., was closed on Oct. 23 for rodent and fly activity.

The list is compiled from closure orders issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s food safety program and the county health department. The source did not say when the businesses could reopen, and it did not include any statement from the restaurants. Diners who want to check a specific business can look up its inspection history through the state’s public records.
