A South Florida product will take the mound Friday night for the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 of the World Series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Nick Martinez, a Belen Jesuit Preparatory School graduate, is the Rays’ starting pitcher for the opener, which begins at 8 p.m. The Rays open the Fall Classic on the road for the first two games.
