The City of Deerfield Beach is hosting a family-friendly archery and art session on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Johnny L. Tigner Community Center, 445 SW 2nd Street.
Participants aim at paint-filled balloons. When the balloons burst, the paint splatters onto a canvas, and each participant takes home a finished piece. The city said no archery experience is needed and that all equipment and art supplies are provided.
The event is open to children ages 7 and up. The cost is $10 per participant. Registration is through a link in the city’s Instagram post.
The session is a low-cost weekend option for families looking for something to do in Deerfield Beach this fall.
