The City of Deerfield Beach will hold a ribbon-cutting and grand opening for the redesigned playground at Pioneer Park on Saturday, Nov. 7, starting at 11 a.m.
The park is at 217 NE 5th Avenue. The city said the new playground includes modern equipment and inclusive amenities, and it was designed to be safe and engaging for children to learn, grow and play.
Attendees will be among the first to try the new structures, slides and sensory play elements after the official ribbon cutting. The city encouraged families to bring children of all ages to the morning event.
Residents with questions about the event, media requests or accommodations can call the city’s Special Events team at 954-250-4231.
