The Palm Beach State College Foundation raised $100,000 at its Annual Golf Classic, held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Breakers West Country Club in West Palm Beach.

The tournament drew 21 foursomes of business and community leaders for a day of golf, networking and fundraising. Proceeds support scholarships and educational opportunities for Palm Beach State College students.

The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the college and works to expand access to education in Palm Beach County. The event is one of the foundation’s main annual fundraisers, and the money goes directly to students who need financial help to stay in school.
