The American Heart Association’s 2026 Palm Beach Heart Walk is set for Saturday, Nov. 14, at Meyer Amphitheater in West Palm Beach. WPTV is the media sponsor of the event, and morning anchor Ashley Glass will emcee it for a second year.
Co-chairs Marilyn Spunar, CFO of TBC Corporation, and Bill Schafer, the company’s chief revenue officer, said the walk draws people who have been touched by heart disease. Spunar said many attendees have a personal history with it, and that sharing those stories tends to inspire others.
Schafer pointed to CPR training as a key reason for the fundraising. He said nine out of 10 people who suffer a cardiac incident outside the hospital do not survive, and that funding helps train residents to respond.
