A Palm Beach County man faces several felony charges after deputies say he threatened a woman and her children, kept her from calling for help and then fought with responding deputies.
According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office probable cause affidavit, Jassiem Brown, 32, was arrested Tuesday on charges including battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness tampering. Deputies say the woman had a previous relationship with Brown. Investigators said he had recently been released from jail on an earlier domestic violence case involving the same woman.
