State Rep. Christine Hunschofsky, who represents District 95, used a November newsletter to thank voters after the general election and to share holiday and community event details. She said her final two-year term in the Florida House runs through November 2028 and that she will serve as Florida House Minority Leader.

The Legislature meets in Tallahassee for Organization Session on Nov. 17-19 and Committee Week on Nov. 30 through Dec. 3. Residents can email her office at HD095@flhouse.gov with issues they want lawmakers to address.

Coconut Creek, Margate, Parkland and Coral Springs are holding Veterans Day events on the morning of Monday, Nov. 11, at their Veterans Parks. Hunschofsky also recommended the Pre-Thanksgiving Interfaith Unity Service on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at First Church of Coral Springs, 8650 W. Sample Road. The Clergy Coalition of Coral Springs and Parkland is hosting it, and organizers will collect canned food for people in need.

For residents who are struggling during the holidays, she pointed to 211-Broward.org and EaglesHaven.org for community resources. Her office can be reached at 954-953-2760.
