The City of Hollywood is starting three road resurfacing projects this fall, with work scheduled to run into late December. The Department of Development Services is overseeing the work under the 2026 Surtax Improvement Project.
Work on Hollywood Boulevard, from east of City Hall Circle to 28th Avenue, is set to begin October 19. Contractor Weekley Asphalt, Inc. will mill and resurface the roadway overnight, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, with an estimated completion date of December 31.
Crews will also work on N 32nd Avenue, from Hollywood Boulevard to Johnson Street, starting October 19. Basile USA, Inc. is the contractor, and the city expects that job to wrap up by November 23.
A third project on N 68th Avenue, from Taft Street to Stirling Road, is scheduled to start November 2 and continue through December 30.
The city said it will make every reasonable effort to limit disruption to residents, businesses and drivers. Anyone with questions can contact City of Hollywood Project Manager Jose D. Garcia at 754-221-8020 or jgarcia@hollywoodfl.org.
