Several restaurants in Broward and Palm Beach counties were ordered closed the week of Oct. 11 because of pest problems, according to a list published by the Boca Raton Tribune.

The closures were tied to roach and fly activity. La Union Restaurant of Fla., at 998 S. State Road 7 in Margate, was closed Oct. 5 for roach and fly activity. China One, at 15711 Sheridan St. in Davie, was closed Oct. 7 for roach activity. The Buccaneer Restaurant, at 142 Lake Drive in Palm Beach Shores, was closed the same day for fly activity.

The list included additional restaurants that the source text did not fully show. Under the listing, each business was assigned a district number and a closure date.

For diners, the list is a reminder to check inspection records before ordering. Restaurants typically must correct the conditions and pass a follow-up inspection before reopening.
