Eastbound traffic on Clint Moore Road between the Turnpike and Jog Road will keep running into delays this week because of a multi-month wall project outside Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. The wall is eight feet tall, according to the report.
Motorists and Woodfield homeowners have started calling the project “Levin Worth,” a play on the Leavenworth prison, because of its high walls. The project has drawn controversy, and the outlet says a lawyer from Becker Poliakoff threatened it over its reporting.
The site also points to a wider list of work zones across Palm Beach County. The Boynton Beach Boulevard interchange rebuild, a $64 million job expected to finish in early 2029, can close up to four lanes of I-95 overnight. Final paving on South County Road in the Town of Palm Beach starts Tuesday night, and Conners Highway north of Hatton Highway is closed for an embankment repair.
Palm Beach County’s Traffic Division lists 186 work zones from Oct. 26 through Nov. 1, most tied to utility crews and FPL. Many are periodic, so drivers may not know about a lane closure until they reach it. Commuters should check FDOT and county updates before heading out.
