Arc Broward held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday night in Oakland Park for its new Academy of Arts and Recreation, according to WSVN.
The South Florida center sits on North Dixie Highway. It is designed to help teenagers and young adults build job readiness skills.
Programming includes visual, digital and performing arts, along with volunteer and community experiences. Arc Broward said the activities are meant to prepare young adults for independence.
