Tamarac residents can lace up for a free 5K Club run or walk with Mayor Michelle J. Gomez. The city’s monthly event takes place on the second Saturday of every month, from 7 to 9 a.m., at Tephford Park, 10003 Southgate Blvd.
The course is a 5K, or about 3.1 miles, and participants may run or walk. The city says the event happens rain or shine.
Runners who want to sign up can register online at runadic.com/running-edge-954. The post does not list a cost beyond describing the club as free.
