A Paris Baguette bakery café has opened on the ground floor of the Modera complex in downtown Coral Springs. The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber hosted a ribbon-cutting for the business on October 8, and city commissioners and local business leaders attended to sample cakes and pastries.

Chris and Kim Shin own the café. Chris said the couple believes in the Paris Baguette concept and wants to serve residents good food, especially its cakes. Kim said Coral Springs is an ideal place for a new restaurant and that the Modera location offers a strong downtown setting.

The café joins a group of new restaurants that recently opened on Modera’s ground floor, which the business describes as casual and neighborhood-focused. According to Chris, the bakers and baristas make fresh pastries and breads and serve Lavazza coffee and iced lattes.

The bakery is at 3326 N University Drive. It is open every day from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
