The Boca Raton Regional Chamber has welcomed the sale of Mizner Park, the downtown Boca Raton dining, shopping, residential and office complex, to CP Group.

The buyers include CP Group, The Georgetown Company, a privately held real estate company, and ACRE, an institutional residential fund manager. Investment partner StepStone is also part of the deal, which the companies announced recently.

Troy McLellan, the chamber’s president and CEO, called Mizner Park one of the most iconic destinations in the heart of downtown. He said it has played a central role in the local economy and in the community’s character for more than three decades.

McLellan said Boca Raton’s growth creates an opening for a renewed vision, strategic investment and a fresh approach to the property. He said the chamber looks forward to working with CP Group chief Angelo Bianco and the team to restore Mizner Park’s standing as one of the nation’s premier mixed-use destinations.

For residents and business owners downtown, the sale signals a new phase for a site that anchors the area’s street life and tenants. The chamber’s statement did not outline specific renovation plans or timelines.
