The City of Coconut Creek is inviting residents to VetFest this Sunday, Nov. 8, starting at 1 p.m. at Tradewinds Park, 3600 West Sample Road. Admission is free.
The city’s announcement lists live music, food trucks and a kid zone among the highlights. Community resources will also be on site, though the post does not say which organizations will take part.
The event falls the weekend before Veterans Day, and it gives Broward County families a free afternoon out close to home.
