VirtuWorks, a Coral Gables managed IT and cybersecurity provider, is offering VirtuMCP to businesses in Miami Beach. The secure gateway connects AI assistants such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot to the software companies already use, letting owners pull answers from their own data.
The company says the tool is aimed at hospitality, real estate and property management firms, where financial and marketing numbers often sit in several systems. An owner could ask what marketing brought in over the past six months, or an operations team could review project costs using connected accounting tools.
Every AI request runs through the gateway rather than directly into company systems. Users sign in with their Microsoft accounts, and managers set view-only, edit or full-control access for each person and system. The AI must ask before making any change, and an activity log records actions for internal oversight. VirtuWorks said the gateway works with more than 50 business tools, including QuickBooks, Acumatica, ConnectWise and Microsoft 365.
Omar Armenteros, founder and CEO of VirtuWorks, said business owners “don’t have time to export reports and stitch them together.” VirtuMCP is included at no extra cost with VirtuWorks managed IT plans, and the company said setup requires no software installation. Firms new to AI can start with an AI readiness assessment.
VirtuWorks has served businesses since 1994 and holds ISO 27001, ISO 20000 and ISO 9001 certifications. It is also a Tier 1 Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider.
