The Parkland Chamber of Commerce and the law firm Zimmerman & Frachtman, P.A. are recruiting vendors and sponsors for the annual Light Up the Night holiday celebration, set for Thursday, Dec. 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Shoppes of Parkland, 6991 N. State Road 7.
Organizers expect more than 3,000 attendees. The event includes family-friendly festivities and a chance for local businesses to show their products and services.
Vendor Village spaces cost $175 each, or $150 for Parkland Chamber members. Additional sponsorship packages are also available. Space is limited, and the chamber encourages businesses to register early.
This year’s entertainment includes live music from Rock Candy Band. A new second stage will feature young performers from the Westglades Middle School Band, Broadway Bound and Dance Theatre, giving local students a chance to perform for the community.
Proceeds will benefit Nicklaus Children’s Health System, which provides medical care for children. Chamber Executive Director Cindy Kaufman called the event one of her favorites of the year. Businesses can find sponsorship and vendor details at parklandchamber.org/lutn.
