The Jupiter Town Council will hold a public hearing on a local historic designation application for 358 Center Street, a house known as The Corner House. The hearing is set for Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Complex at 210 Military Trail.
The application covers a single-family home built around 1931. The town’s Department of Planning and Zoning is handling the request, filed under case number PZ 26-6912.
Residents who want to support or oppose the designation may attend and speak. The council will hear all evidence and arguments before deciding. The item could be postponed or withdrawn without prior notice, according to the town.
Anyone planning to appeal a decision from the hearing will need a verbatim record, which the town does not provide. Those with questions can call the planning and zoning department at (561) 741-2323 or check the town website’s agendas and minutes page.
