Some Miami-Dade County voters will cast ballots at different locations on Election Day after the Supervisor of Elections office temporarily moved 19 precincts. The office announced the changes in a social media post on Friday, citing facility availability and other circumstances.
Several precincts in North Miami Beach, Miami Lakes, Sunny Isles Beach, West Miami and Cutler Bay are affected. Voters in Precinct 002, for example, will go to Gateway Park at 151 Sunny Isles Boulevard. Precincts 404 and 424 will vote at West Miami Middle School, at 7525 Southwest 24th Street. Precincts 825 and 836 will vote at the South Dade Government Center, at 10710 Southwest 211th Street.
The elections office said the simplest way to find a location is to enter your information on its website. The updated assigned site will appear automatically. Voters should not go to their old polling place if their precinct is on the list.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters must cast ballots at their assigned precinct that day.
