Two men face charges in Broward County in the rape of a 17-year-old girl who lives in Miami-Dade County, according to court records. Miami Gardens police first met the victim on Jan. 17 at the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The teen later told Hollywood police that in 2025 she connected with a man who said he was 18 on Wizz, an app that promotes itself as a way to meet new friends. Phone records led detectives to 22-year-old Samauri “Mari” Moton, according to an arrest warrant. The teen agreed to meet him at Buccaneer Park in Miami Gardens on the night of Jan. 16, and he invited her to Hollywood Beach.
She told detectives that a second man, later identified as 25-year-old Jevaun “Vaun” Noel, was in the car when she got in. She reported that Noel raped her in a parked car on North Ocean Drive while Moton waited outside, the warrant said. A detective wrote that the teen never engaged in sexually explicit conversations with Moton and never exchanged explicit images with him.
A Broward judge issued an arrest warrant for Noel on Oct. 20. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested him the next morning at his home in North Lauderdale. He faces two counts of lewd or lascivious touching of a minor and two counts of sexual battery on a victim under 18.
A second judge issued a warrant for Moton on Oct. 22. Hollywood police arrested him Thursday afternoon at Northwest Third Avenue and Fifth Street in Pompano Beach. He faces five charges, including false imprisonment, two counts of lewd or lascivious touching of a minor and two counts of sexual battery on a minor.
