Faith leaders in Palm Beach County are running a series of events over the final weekend of early voting to push back against voter apathy.

The first is a justice revival in Boynton Beach on Friday night, headlined by gospel artist Charles Jenkins. On Halloween, a group called “Trap 2 Da Pollz” plans to offer free rides to early voting locations in West Palm Beach.

On Sunday, “Souls to the Polls” will invite congregations to worship, ride together and vote as a group.

Rev. Rae Whitely, lead organizer for Faith in Florida, and Dr. Jamian Lovett, senior pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, are among the leaders behind the effort to boost turnout.
