The City of Miramar’s Division of Emergency Management, Memorial Healthcare System and the National Weather Service will host a free virtual event on heat safety and hydration on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The city said the session will cover the fall and winter weather outlook, early signs of dehydration, and how to recognize heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Presenters will also share practical ways to stay hydrated and protect families during outdoor activities, even as temperatures start to drop.
Residents can register through the city’s online form. Organizers said an event invitation will be sent a few days before the session.
