A landscaping truck crashed through a bus stop and onto a sidewalk before slamming into storefronts in the heart of North Miami, according to WSVN 7News. No injuries were reported.
Among the businesses hit was A-Z FormalWear on 125th Street. Video from several camera angles showed glass, metal and pieces of the bus stop scattered across the street. Public works crews were seen clearing debris from the scene.
John Delgado, the property manager, said the formal wear shop was still open for business despite the damage. He called it a miracle that no one was seriously hurt or struck by the truck.
Delgado said the driver told him he lost control of the steering and the brakes. He said the driver tried his best to avoid people before running into the building.
7News learned that the driver was cited for reckless driving. The truck has been towed away.
