South Florida voters can now track early voting, mail ballot deadlines and polling sites county by county ahead of Election Day, Nov. 3. WPBF 25’s Get the Facts Data Team is following early and mail-in ballot numbers, using data from the University of Florida Election Lab.
Early voting runs through Sunday, Nov. 1, but hours and start dates vary by county. In some areas, sites are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In others, the schedule is shorter, with some locations offering extended hours on Thursdays.
The deadline to request a mail-in ballot was Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. Ballots must reach elections offices by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Secure vote-by-mail drop boxes will be available at the main elections office on Election Day.
Voters on Election Day must cast ballots at their assigned polling place, which can be found through the county elections websites. The deadline to register was Monday, Oct. 5.
