Flynn’s Arcade in Margate is hosting a free Halloween swap on Saturday, Oct. 10, where people can bring gently used costumes and decorations and trade them for something new. The event, called Trick or Thread Halloween Swap 3, runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The arcade is at 5869 Margate Boulevard. Entry is free, and parking is free as well. Food and drinks will be sold on site.
The swap is a low-cost way to refresh a Halloween wardrobe or fill out seasonal decorations before the holiday, and organizers promote it as an eco-friendly alternative to buying new items.
