Miami will stay hot and humid this weekend, with highs holding near 90 degrees and peak feels-like temperatures around 105 degrees, according to the WSVN 7News forecast. A strong southeast breeze will blow both days, with the stronger winds expected Saturday.
Saturday brings sunshine and passing clouds, with isolated showers and storms possible, mainly across northern and inland areas. The breeze also creates a high risk of rip currents and hazardous boating conditions through the weekend.
On Sunday, a front approaching from the north should keep the heaviest rain to the north and west, leaving most of South Florida mostly sunny and dry. The front moves through Monday with a chance of an afternoon shower or storm and highs in the low 90s.
Midweek looks drier. The front is expected to stall to the south, bringing sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s.
The forecast also tracks Hurricane Isaias, a major hurricane that was forecast to make landfall late Friday along the Florida Panhandle. The storm is expected to weaken as it moves inland, bringing heavy rain and a tornado threat to parts of the Southeast on Saturday.
