A Palm Beach County woman is facing charges after investigators said she drove a car involved in a shooting that damaged a home and a vehicle in Wellington, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Jillian Janae Guervil is charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle, firing into a building and criminal mischief causing more than $1,000 in damage. Freddie Lee Adkins is listed as a co-defendant. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the shooting on Oct. 24, 2025, and found a live .300 Blackout round and a spent casing near the scene.

Surveillance video showed a light-colored Mercedes-Benz driving through the neighborhood before three shots were fired from the front passenger seat, the affidavit said. Two witnesses identified Guervil as the driver of a light-pink Mercedes-Benz seen in the area.

Deputies later seized Guervil’s car and found two spent .300 Blackout casings under the front passenger seat. Investigators said those casings matched the caliber of evidence recovered at the scene.

In an interview with detectives, Guervil acknowledged driving to Wellington that night and said her front-seat passenger fired at the home. She told investigators she knew he had a gun but did not know he planned to shoot at the residence, and said the shooting was not planned.

Investigators also cited surveillance footage, license-plate reader data, cellphone records and social media messages that they say connect Guervil and Adkins to the shooting. Based on that evidence, investigators determined there was probable cause to charge both suspects. The affidavit does not say whether either has entered a plea.
