The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade will return to Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, Dec. 12, according to an announcement from The Broward Scene. The preshow begins at 5:30 p.m., and the parade and fireworks start at 6 p.m. along the New River.
Organizers say decorated boats of many kinds will travel down the river as part of the holiday event. This year’s parade will also mark America’s 250th birthday, adding a patriotic theme to the festivities.
The parade is one of the city’s best-known holiday traditions, and it draws crowds to the riverfront each December. Residents planning to attend should arrive early for the preshow and check for any further details from the event’s organizers before heading out.
