Parkland is getting a new park space. Visit Lauderdale said Wedge Preserve Park will add 36 acres of outdoor recreation at Hillsboro Boulevard and Nob Hill Road in Parkland.
The planned features include a mini play village, a beach-themed splash pad, pickleball and basketball courts, a ninja course and sports fields. The post said the list includes “and more” but did not give further details.
The social media post did not give an opening date or a construction timeline, and it did not say who is building the project. Residents who want to know when the new areas will open should check with the City of Parkland.
