Palm Beach Gardens and Royal Palm Beach, the only two undefeated teams in Class 5A District 12, meet Thursday night in a high school football game that will leave just one team unbeaten. WPBF Sports anchor Yianni Kourakis reported live from Royal Palm Beach during the station’s Game of the Week coverage.
Kourakis said the district is highly competitive and that the regular season will decide the eventual champion. Royal Palm Beach head coach Sam Curry joined him during the live segment.
For fans in northern Palm Beach County, the result will shape the district race heading into the rest of the season. Both programs enter the matchup with spotless records, so the loser will have to regroup quickly to stay in contention.
