The City of Tamarac will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. to welcome two new businesses to the community. New Jewelry Exchange and Sunshine State Dry Cleaners are both located along North University Drive, at 6730 and 6734 N. University Dr.
The city said attendees can expect refreshments and pastries during the event. New Jewelry Exchange is also offering a 10% discount during the celebration.
The ceremony is a chance for residents to meet the new owners and support local shops as they open in the city.
