Brady Tkachuk completed his second straight natural hat trick with an overtime goal Thursday night, lifting the Florida Panthers to a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks in Sunrise.

Tkachuk had tied the game with 13 seconds left in regulation, one-timing a shot from the right faceoff circle after Vancouver pulled goalie Akira Schmid for an extra attacker. He also scored three straight goals Tuesday in Columbus, where the Panthers beat the Blue Jackets 7-3.

Vancouver led 2-1 after first-period goals from Liam Ohgren and Elias Pettersson. Goalie Leevi Merilainen made 36 saves for the Canucks, who have lost six straight, including five to start a six-game trip. Schmid stopped 15 shots for Florida.

Filip Chytil made his season debut for the Panthers after recovering from a preseason shoulder injury. Florida lost forward Eetu Luostarinen midway through the third period after he crashed into the back boards on a hit from Pettersson.

The Panthers host Seattle on Saturday night. Vancouver plays at Tampa Bay on Saturday.
