Three South Florida restaurants and hotels are decorating for Halloween with themed events that run through the fall season. The venues include a horror-inspired prom in Fort Lauderdale, a witch-themed pop-up in Pembroke Pines and a fashion-driven rooftop party in Miami.

At the Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale, Room 901 has been transformed into a prom night inspired by the 1976 horror film “Carrie,” which marks its 50th anniversary. Katherine Beja-McLennan, a representative for the hotel, said the room has red and black decor, along with a famous blood-covered dress. Cocktails include the Prom Queen, Bloody Carrie and Bloody Sunrise, and guests will choose a prom king and queen. The room is open Tuesday through Sunday from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m.

In Pembroke Pines, Unit B Eatery and Spirits has opened the Raven Room, a seasonal pop-up with dim lighting, cobwebs, candles and a live raven greeter. Jodi Gopaul said the menu includes Raven Wings, a House of Usher Burger and a Tell-Tale Heart dessert that guests break open.

In Miami, Giselle is hosting “The Devil Wears Velvet” on its rooftop at 15 NE 11th St. Tony Boukhari said the party riffs on the film “The Devil Wears Prada,” with deep red and black dress code, DJs and live entertainment. Signature drinks include the Devil’s Kiss, a vodka martini with pomegranate, and a tequila cocktail colored with activated charcoal and topped with Thai chili peppers.
