Three more residents of Kings Point, the 55-and-older community in Delray Beach, have been arrested, according to BocaNewsNow.com. The outlet’s unofficial tally now stands at 110 Kings Point residents arrested since 2023. The site says that is more than any other senior living community in south Palm Beach County.
Amar Agazzi, 30, of the Burgundy section, faces four counts of amphetamine trafficking and one count of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. The drug charges carry no bond, and the other charge carries a $10,000 bond. He remained in the Palm Beach County Jail on Saturday morning.
Michael Baron, of the Seville section, was being held Saturday on an out-of-state warrant. The report did not say what led to the warrant or which jurisdiction issued it.
Lazaro Martinez-Zapata, of the Tuscany section, was arrested Friday on a moving traffic violation and a charge of failing to obey a police or fire department order. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released on $500 bond.
The report notes that earlier arrests included weapons offenses, DUI, battery, assault, sex crimes and theft. All of the people named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
