Tamarac man allegedly tells 911 God told him to kill his mother

A Tamarac man allegedly stabbed his mother to death after telling police God had instructed him to do it, according to a breaking report.

A man allegedly told police that God told him to kill his mother, and then stabbed her repeatedly until she died. The killing happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 5300 block of Northwest 28th Avenue in Tamarac, Broward County, according to BocaNewsNow.com.

The suspect called the Broward County 911 center to report the crime and said God had told him to kill his mother, the outlet reported. SWAT and other first responders went to the home, secured the area and entered. They took the man into custody and found a woman with multiple stab wounds and a large amount of blood on the floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
