The City of Tamarac will begin accepting applications for its First-Time Homebuyer Program on Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. The program offers eligible applicants up to $85,000 in down payment assistance.
Residents who want to see whether they qualify can check eligibility at Tamarac.gov/DownPaymentAssistance, according to the city’s Instagram post.
The program targets people buying their first home, a benefit that could help Tamarac buyers cover one of the largest upfront costs of a purchase. The post did not list income limits, application requirements or how many awards are available.
