Tamarac Commissioner Krystal Patterson is hosting a free, family-friendly community bike ride on Saturday, Oct. 17, starting at 8 a.m. at the Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77th St.
Riders are encouraged to bring their own bicycles. The city’s organizers, through Patterson’s office, will have a limited number of stationary bikes available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The ride is open to families and residents of all ages and is meant to take riders through Tamarac’s neighborhoods. Participants will share positive experiences, stop to support local small businesses along the route and celebrate kindness and community spirit.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Residents who want more details or want to sign up can visit Patterson’s page on the event listing.
