A retired personal injury attorney from Boca Raton, Darryl Kogan, has pleaded guilty to charges related to child sexual abuse images, according to a plea agreement reported by WPBF 25 News.

The agreement says Kogan sent a sexually explicit photo of himself to a 16-year-old girl and then asked her to send a similar photo back.

Kogan entered a not guilty plea earlier this month but has now changed it. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

The case is a reminder of how online contact with minors can lead to serious federal or state charges, and it adds to the court activity in Palm Beach County this fall.
