Golfers will tee off for a local cause on Friday, Dec. 4, when the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual PuroClean Classic at Woodmont Country Club, 7801 NW 80th Ave. in Tamarac.
Lunch is set for 11:30 a.m., and the tournament begins at 12:30 p.m. Dinner follows at 5:45 p.m. The format is an 18-hole scramble, with vendors on the course, raffles, a silent auction and complimentary food.
Proceeds go to the chamber’s charitable foundation and its small-business initiatives. PuroClean is the title sponsor, and Woodmont Country Club is the host and platinum sponsor. County Line Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, Dignity Memorial’s Star of David/Bailey Memorial, Florida Power & Light and Richline Group are gold sponsors.
Sponsorships for golf contests are still open. The chamber is also seeking silent auction donations valued at $100 or more and raffle prizes worth at least $50.
