Cooler nights may still be weeks away in South Florida, but fall festivals are filling calendars across Palm Beach County this month, according to the Boca Raton Tribune.

The Fall Festival at Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market in Boynton Beach runs on the 80-acre farm at 10066 Lee Road. It includes a pumpkin patch with photo areas, an expanded corn maze, tractor rides, a petting zoo and a sunflower field. Weekend days add face painting and axe throwing. Tickets cost $19.99 per person on weekdays and $24.99 on weekends, and children under 2 get in free.

Cason United Methodist Church holds its annual pumpkin patch on Oct. 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., then Oct. 19 through 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Pumpkins start at $1, and proceeds support the church’s mission and outreach work.

Daggerwing Nature Center hosts a Florida Animals: October Spooktacular on Saturday, Oct. 17, at noon. Visitors meet live native animals, including bats, owls, alligators and snakes. The program is for ages 5 and older, and reservations are required.

Pumpkin Palooza returns to The Shops at Boca Center on Oct. 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. The same day, the SoFlo Market fall edition runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fuller Center’s West Boca Raton campus, with free admission. CityPlace Fall Fest takes over The Lawn at CityPlace in West Palm Beach on Oct. 24 and 25.
