Drivers across Palm Beach County should expect delays this week. The Florida Department of Transportation and the county’s Traffic Division have 206 active projects on local roads, with 23 from FDOT and 183 from the county. The county’s list covers Oct. 19 through Oct. 25.

Several of the biggest jobs are long-running. The Boynton Beach Boulevard interchange rebuild, a $64 million project, is not expected to finish until early 2029. The Beeline Highway project, valued at $148.2 million, runs until late 2029 and affects drivers in Palm Beach Gardens and Riviera Beach.

Other work is concentrated in Boca Raton, where U.S. 1 lane restrictions are planned, and in West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Palm Beach and Ocean Ridge. Some of that work will close Dixie Highway overnight. Northbound and southbound I-95 work in Boynton Beach continues at night.

Conners Highway remains closed in the western part of the county. Clint Moore Road also has ongoing disruptions tied to work near Woodfield Country Club.

Many of the county entries involve utility crews, including FPL, working in travel lanes. Drivers who commute on these corridors should check the county’s list before leaving home.
