Palm Beach County ranks second in Florida for voter turnout in the 2026 election cycle, according to data from the Supervisor of Elections and the election tracking site Voting Trend as of Sunday morning, Oct. 11.
So far, the county has recorded 46,897 ballots, and every one of them is a vote-by-mail ballot. Palm Beach has cast about 16,000 more votes than Broward County, even though Broward has a larger population and several hundred thousand more registered voters.
The Boca Raton Tribune reported the figures. The article’s author is a partner in Voting Trend, the site used as a source for the numbers.
The early lead matters for local voters because turnout figures often signal how engaged a county is heading into Election Day. Residents who have not yet returned a mail ballot can check their status with the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.
